Refrigerant doesn’t get used up. If your system is low, it’s leaking. Adding more without finding the leak just puts off the next service call. We test the system under pressure and vacuum to track down the leak.
If it’s in a fitting or a line, we repair it. If it’s in the coil or the condenser, we’ll explain the options, because some people prefer to replace rather than repair. After the fix, we pull a vacuum, confirm the system holds, and charge it to the right level.

Why is the copper line on my AC freezing?
Ice on the line usually means low refrigerant from a leak or an airflow problem like a dirty filter or coil. Turn the cooling off and call us.
Can you just top off my refrigerant?
We can, but if it’s low, it’s leaking, and it will be low again. We’d rather find the leak.
Why do you vacuum the lines?
A vacuum removes air and moisture and proves the system is sealed before we charge it. It protects the equipment and its efficiency.

Do you charge for a diagnostic visit?
